I've never been more nervous about a test in my life.

I have a calculus final in just over 10 hours. Basically, if I pass the final, I pass the class, but likewise, if I fail the final, I fail the class. I'm not particularly great at memorizing math formulas for several months, and I'm afraid that I'm going to forget the stuff from earlier in the semester. It happened to me on the midterm and I did really bad on that. If we we're given all the different integration rules and error formulas and whatnot, it'd be a walk in the park, but we're not.

Ok, 5 more minutes then back to studying.

Hey get in trouble tonight and get arrested. Have a nice cell share with bubba and I don't think you will be nervous about that test.

Argh, you have my sympathies--you're in the same exact situation I'm in, right down to the class & dreaded 'T-minus' time. Watching the minutes tick by as I sit in front of pages of notes, James Stewart's 'Calculus,' and my TI-85... :clock:

Ah, but the world's weight will be lifted off my back come 10:30AM or so--at least until the next final (including a massive Physics one the day after). :(

I've got the same book, but a TI-89. Not that it does a lot of good since it's not allowed on the test... I jsut get to use it to check my answers while I'm studying.

If it makes you feel any better, I was worried about my biology final, I didn't know any of the stuff but somehow I remembered almost everything and ended up with a 96% :p

Yup, I'm using the calc to check my answers as well, as the teacher checks our work to make sure we've learned the material (following each and every step). We can use it during the test, but (as you should know pretty well) if you don't fully understand the definitions, rules and exceptions to said rules, you're so screwed even w/the calc.

Reminds me: my friend pulled out his monstrous TI-92 one time in class for a quiz (during one of the first class meetings). Now the professor never mentioned anything about calcs in the syllabus and it was only instinct to pull out the 85 for me as well. I sat near the back and noticed no one else brought out a calc (and certainly not a graphing calc), so I brushed aside that idea to play it safe and took out scratch paper. My friend didn't have the advantage of sitting near the back as I did as he sat right in front. Safe to say he never took it out of his bag again after the reaction he got from the prof and classmates. :D
