I've just realized that we have only like 3 post per person, total.

You can't because if someone signed up with the same name, they would be associated with the other person's posts. You could only erase the accounts of people who registered but never posted.
 
Posts are archived/deleted after a while. Anandtech has had more posts than are reflected in current 'totals'.
 
Those numbers are topics, not posts. One topic could have 200 posts in it. It is also possible that those topics are from the last ninety days only, before they are archived. To check if thats true, you could monitor the topic total over a period of a few weeks, if it stays about the same, then it only reports non-archived topics. OT has around 150,000 topics, so assuming an average of 15 posts per topic, thats 2250000 posts.
