Hmmmm...... I guess being in New England makes it a little different. Last Autumn I was driving and somehow blundering into Kennebunkport, Maine. Drove about 100 miles from home and didn't even realize it. Found a place that was closing because the tourist season was over and they were clearing out the lobsters. I picked up four fully cooked 3lb lobsters with all the trimmings (corn, mashed potatoes, rolls, coleslaw, clam chowder) plus a whole cherry pie for about $100.
The the dilemma, how to get home without it getting cold? Rear heater on high, rear heated seats on high, and foot on the hammer. Somehow I managed to get back to a suburb outside of Boston in an hour. I've never drove that long at a sustained 120MPH before. The roads were basically clear on a dead straight well lit portion on I-95.
My galpal, brother, his girl, and I all enjoyed an amazing dinner.
