I hope you meant this option for $199

4 Live Lobster (Extra Large)4 - 2 1/2 to 3 pound Lobsters

Which is FOUR of the 2.5-3 pound lobsters. (why not go to the local fish monger?)

WTF? I could eat 30lbs of shrimp for the price you paid for that one lobster.. You are one crazy SOB.. You will eat that lobster in like 2 bites..

Is it the tail that is 2 1/2lbs? or is it the whole lobster? Lobster at the local grocery store prepared well is better than $200 lobster only prepared mediocrely.

Scary that you can afford $200 on that lobster.

That's about $20 per pound... why not go to a good seafood market and buy live lobsters for far less?
That's reasonable for lobster tails, but not for whole lobsters. lobster tails

Or you can buy live Maine lobsters for far less here: (price is per lobster, not per pound)

What kind of b.s. is this? Says it's Maine lobster, harvested in canadian waters. I don't believe the lobstermen in Maine can keep lobsters that big, they have to throw them back.

Hmmmm...... I guess being in New England makes it a little different. Last Autumn I was driving and somehow blundering into Kennebunkport, Maine. Drove about 100 miles from home and didn't even realize it. Found a place that was closing because the tourist season was over and they were clearing out the lobsters. I picked up four fully cooked 3lb lobsters with all the trimmings (corn, mashed potatoes, rolls, coleslaw, clam chowder) plus a whole cherry pie for about $100.

The the dilemma, how to get home without it getting cold? Rear heater on high, rear heated seats on high, and foot on the hammer. Somehow I managed to get back to a suburb outside of Boston in an hour. I've never drove that long at a sustained 120MPH before. The roads were basically clear on a dead straight well lit portion on I-95.

My galpal, brother, his girl, and I all enjoyed an amazing dinner.

It wasn't Shawn White's lobster shack was it? Cuz if it was I'm betting it was imitation lobster meat.

Nope, haven't Shawn White's. Don't remember the name of the place but they had huge tanks of lobsters. The place was busy as hell and took about an hour just to pick out the lobster. So unless they managed to make real looking fake lobsters, they were real.
