Hah, same for me, OP.

The backpack I still use now in my 5th year of college, I know I had in 9th grade of high school. Don't remember if I had it before 9th but possible. The zipper busted way back in like 10th grade or so, so it doesn't actually zip up, so all this time I just used it anyway. Haha.

Don't know how old my wallet is but around 8 years is likely!

Got my 83+ for Algebra 2 in 9th grade... still use it as a senior in Computer Engineering and it works good enough for me (haven't had a huge need for a 89, contrary to what most people say).

Got a Samsung 900NF CRT back in the Onvia days... possibly 2000 or so. I used it until mid 2005 when I got a LCD, gave it to my parents then, and still in use today. CRTs generally start to wear out after that much use, but damn that thing is perfect like day one, last I seen it anyway. Awesome monitor; great resolution and refresh rates for a 19" (1600x1200@85 Hz!).

Have a ~6" fan that clamps to a desk for a long ass time. I finally bought a window fan this year but I still use that little fan all the time in the summer. Now get this... the original reason for purchasing that fan was I had a Voodoo Banshee, and to get decent performance in whatever I was playing at the time (right after HL1 came out I believe), it had to be overclocked quite a bit. It didn't have a fan, only a heatsink, so I kept the case cover off and had that little fan pointed at the video card... worked pretty well! :D

Probably have some more stuff that old too. I'm pretty cheap so I take care of things and keep my stuff for a long time and generally don't bother replacing it till it's hosed, as is the case with my wallet, backpack, and calculator, even with how cheap a wallet is.

The same white Adidas shoes for 7 years
The same navy Gap jacket for 7 years
The same jeans for 8 years
The same backpack for 8 years
The same Koss Porta Pros for 9 years (although the clips are starting to break)
The same Sony boombox for 11 years (it's now a spare system - used in the kitchen)

and...

The same girlfriend for 3.5 years!

Hey duragezic - good to hear I'm not the only person to keep stuff until it wears out! I still have a lot of clothes from 9th and 10th grade (1998-99) that haven't worn out, so I just keep wearing them. I only donate the stuff that goes out of style, which isn't a lot. Whatever.

I have added some new items to my wardrobe over the years; now I actually have more clothes than my g/f .

I've had the same scientific calculator since 1985 (HP11C). It still works on the original batteries, too.

I've had the same stereo speakers and CD player for 11 years (the receiver/tuner died last year).
I've had the same briefcase for 12 years.
I've had the same wife for 12 years (as of later this month) and been with the same woman for 20 years (also as of later this month).
I've had the same money clip for 18 years.
I've had the same comb for more than 20 years.

Those are the most interesting things I can think of over 10 years.

I've had the same pair of Doc Marten boots from sophomore year in HS... so that's about 9 years ago? Best $200 of my hard earned cash every spent. The boots are quite beat up now but I can still wear it with no problems. They are 100% built with quality man.. too bad we don't see them anymore. I've tried the cheap Sketchers alternative - it got absolutely smooshed into nothing after about 9 months. Those raised toes got flat as hell, making the shoes very ugly. My 9 year Docs still maintain the rounded/raised toes. Good stuff.

I still use my Athlon XP1700+ 1.5 Ghz as my main PC. That's not really that old but it's quite a big deal considering I used to be all about getting the latest PC. Shows how I've lost interest in computers and found better use of my money as I grew older.

I've had the same computer for 6 years.

Still running fine. Apart from the fans slowly dying and making random noices.

My television is 20+ years old. I was like 5 when my parents bought it and several other TVs died on me before I started using this one as my main.
