Nothing wrong with it. If a girl came up to me and told me she's seen me around, and that she's been attracted to me for over a year, but just haven't been able to say anything until now, i would be flattered. Just don't sound desperate and too forward.

Umm...don't directly say that you have a crush on her. Even if she may have similar feelings, she won't know what to think or do and feel it's too much for her to think about all at once.

I've been there done that; in HS, I told this girl I had "feelings" for her freshmen year; we avoided each other alot during HS, but now are good friends. It did bring what ever sense of "closure" to me I guess by telling her. I moved on from pursuing a relationship with her and am happy with who I [found and] am with now. Took a while (all four years of HS) for me to realize I was chasing the wrong girl.

I'm not desperate. Just about everything I've heard about this girl makes her out to be the closest thing to perfect that I've seen. I have talked to her some, I am kinda friends with her, I say hi to her in the halls,

how would this not be a valid thing to do?
