Iron Maiden is one of my favorite bands of all time.

On Aug 24 they're playing in Irvine (with Whitesnake I think...). I'm on ticketmaster getting ready to grab a pair for the lawn (funny, I'm no richer than when I was in high school...heh) when I look at the calendar on my wall..

A SUNDAY!!!! Arrrrgggghhhhhhhh..............

I can't afford to take a day off, and I've never been able to stay up all night and still work the next day. 🙁

I Like Early Maiden before one of their lead guitarist left....after that there music went down the shitter...IMHO

Ticket prices here are $25.00 - $59.50, so i'd be getting lawn seats too. Though Dio & Motorhead are opening up for IM at Blossom, south of Cleveland on Aug. 5th.

Depending on how often they come through, suck it up and do it! Don't drink, get sleep before hand, eat well and you should be just fine. Well... I guess it depends on how old you are, but still shouldn't be that bad.

Well, I've lost the ability to stay up all night and still be functional in the morning. Never really had it. 🙁 Too many kids and too many parties I guess. 🙁

Are you talking about Adrian Smith? Because he is back in the band now. he rejoined a couple of years ago when Bruce came back. They have a 3 guitar line-up now.

Says more about your sorry taste in music than the bands themselves. What kind of crap do you listen to?

I've got tickets to the Houston show August 16th. I've seen Maiden 6 times and they always kick ass. I have seen them play a stadium for 45,000 people and ive seen them in a club with less than 100 people. They are one of the few bands to preservere and continue making brilliant, relevant music while not bowing to whatever trend currently dominates the airwaves.
