Lemme see if I remember...

V3 2000 was the budget card
V3 3000 was the midrange card
V3 3500 was the performance card

Then 3dfx started going kinda off and you had to supply your own nuke plant to run quake 3.

You really don't know about the time warps?

Fusetalk is having issues... If you respond to a thread quickly enough (same minute as the OP) you can take over the thread.

Does anybody remember the guy in this forum who was giving out the new "state of the art" mouse pads several yrs back? I don't have it anymore and I don't recall what it was called either.

The clock rates were 143 MHz, 166 MHz and 183 MHz respectively (core/mem were synchronized). The prices were $129, $179, and $249. And the 3500 had a TV tuner.

I had a Voodoo 3, I remember calling their support for help, and the tech dude I got on the line was playing a fucking video game. He wasn't even trying to be slick about it, the volume was pretty loud. It was Re-Volt (bad ass game) didn't find it very professional though lol.

Damn, I loved the Voodoo 3 3000 I rocked back in the day. The unreal games loved that card. The pad still looks new, how'd you keep it in such good shape?

My first 3d accelerator was a VooDoo Banshee! Quake ran soooo smoothly. Oh the memories.
