I've got problems with a USB 2 Hub I connected to my PC...

I've got my USB mouse connected to a powered USB 2 hub and the mouse is all jerky mainly in games but also on desktop when opening windows and programs. Had problems with my multifunction printer attached to the hub when I was scanning.

Any idea's? I put the USB voltage to maximum in the bios of my ASUS M/B, is this okay?
