AAAAAAHHH!!!

anyone got recommendations for anti-pimple therapy? hehe :)

go use some noxema and then try some clearsil or something similar.
The ones that use oxygen (oxyclean I think) works great.

In the mean time learn the art of makeup from a girl.

Try not to use the regular bar soaps on your face. Dries it out waaaay too much and your body produces more oil to compensate. Bamo, you got mountains.

Washing your face every night before you go to sleep (with a facial soap, not just the bar...as said above) can help a lot. As can cutting down on caffeine and sweet foods, if you eat a lot of those. I went from drinking Pepsi (bleh) daily to cutting out caffeine completely a few years back, and my face cleared right up. Depends on how addicted you are to the stuff, though:)

edit: Oh, forgot to add in...drink LOTS of water (at least 7-8 cups/day, which you should be doing anyway). That should make a noticeable difference as well.

Other than that, just wait the hormonal years out, heh.

In all my life (so far, I am 21) I have had only 4 pimples (not times the count) to date. The others were due to pus forming because I forgot to put on some aftershave.

Edit:
Pimples can happen due to harmone imbalence and all, but over all wash your face everyday.

Get some sand paper and bandages. works wonders ! :D

Actually, if it isn't serious, just use some noxema or whatever face wash you can get at the drug store, if it's bad then consult a dermatologist and ask for a drug called accutane. you'll experience diahrea but you'll get better complexion :D

If these things don't clear you up, go to a dermatologist. Likely they'll suggest tetracycline, which works for most people. If it doesn't work, and you've tried other things, see if you can get them to fast-track you to 'Accutane' - deadly stuff, but damn it gets rid of them face whores.

good guy, I've never heard of that. I use a straight razor and have never used aftershave. The only pimple I have gotten in years has been on the end of my nose. I certainly don't shave my nose. However, everyone is dif so dif things work for dif people. Try something. If it doesn't work in a week or two, stop using it for a few days to let your face go back to normal and try something else. It's kinda bad to be mixing these chemicals up. I grew up with five sisters, they made sure I knew how to apply my makeu....ERRRRR, clean my face!

Another vote for Noxzema. When I was young and had that problem, I tried everything from medicines, soaps, etc. The only thing that worked was Noxzema. Definitely worth a shot.....

If it's really bad a demotologist could put you on Acutane. The side effects are severe, it's expensive as fvck, but it works wonders.

Make sure your doctor doesnt put you on "Ortho Tricycline" ok.

As for the ones that formed by shaving, it was on my lip or lower chin.. But my skin on the overall is relatively oily if I dont wash often.

Another option is Monodox. Accutane mainly dries your skin out, and has a lot of other severe side effects that may occur, but probably won't. Females who are or may become pregnant MUST NOT take Accutane. But I'm no dermatologist, so go ask yours. He'll be able to determine the severity and give you a prescription accordingly. If you use simple cleansers it might not be enough depending on the severity of your acne. Good luck!

Odd but it works... I use Neutrogena face cleansing stuff everyday which really dries out my skin, but then put facial lotion on afterwards, and it keeps my face pretty clear. Much clearer than just using any form of soap, anyhow.

My wife works in a hospital, and I heard an interesting remedy the other day...

Preperation H.... Believe it or not... that with an asprin to take down the redness and irratation...

Never tried it, but the source said its the quickest way she's ever seen to get rid of a pimple...

Im 18 and have been putting on a thin layer of Clearisil on my face ever night before bed. I never really break out but I will get a few little ones under the surface now and then. Lay out in the sun for a while with your MP3 player. Not only will it dry out your skin, youll also get a nice tan. The ladies like it...
