Long story short, my friends/family have been on me for quite a while to apply at a local computer business. Well I finally did today, and two hours later, TWO HOURS LATER, I had a callback for an interview! I'm pretty psyched right now, but also want to be prepared for tomorrow.
So far the basic game plan is:
1. Wake up and do the three S's (Sh!t, Shower, & Shave)
2. Leave about an hour early, get a nice hair cut
3. Be there a few min early
4. ACE IT!!
Anything I'm forgetting? This is my first interview, so I want to do it right, and of course, make a good impression
Update: Well my game plan worked out well
I got there a few min early, had to wait because the interviewer was on the phone, though. But when the time for the interview came, I think I did pretty well. It only took about 45min, and then she gave me a quick tour of the building, said that there were a few other interviews that were scheduled for that day, and said she would call me tomorrow at the latest and let me know. So I went home, took a quick nap, and no sooner than I had woken up, I got the call. She offered me the job, said I start Tuesday. So I now work Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:15pm, and every other Saturday 9:00am - 12:00pm. Starting pay is $7.50/hr, and will soon be reassesed based on my abilities.
How did everyone else's interviews go?
