Long story short, my friends/family have been on me for quite a while to apply at a local computer business. Well I finally did today, and two hours later, TWO HOURS LATER, I had a callback for an interview! I'm pretty psyched right now, but also want to be prepared for tomorrow.

So far the basic game plan is:

1. Wake up and do the three S's (Sh!t, Shower, & Shave)

2. Leave about an hour early, get a nice hair cut

3. Be there a few min early

4. ACE IT!!

Anything I'm forgetting? This is my first interview, so I want to do it right, and of course, make a good impression

Update: Well my game plan worked out well :) I got there a few min early, had to wait because the interviewer was on the phone, though. But when the time for the interview came, I think I did pretty well. It only took about 45min, and then she gave me a quick tour of the building, said that there were a few other interviews that were scheduled for that day, and said she would call me tomorrow at the latest and let me know. So I went home, took a quick nap, and no sooner than I had woken up, I got the call. She offered me the job, said I start Tuesday. So I now work Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:15pm, and every other Saturday 9:00am - 12:00pm. Starting pay is $7.50/hr, and will soon be reassesed based on my abilities.

How did everyone else's interviews go?

I hear they look you up on the internet. They'll see that you don't finish what you start and won't hire you.

Sorry, but good luck anyways!

Mock them in the interview. It helps.

QFT, I did that in 10+ interviews. I was able to evade a job in every instance!

Also, good luck! Interviews aren't easy, but you do well under pressure.

Two hours later usually means that they are desperate for people.

They are usually prone to askign the most unconventional of questions (concering problems that would never arise or concerning thigns that the interviewer doesn't totally understand:D)

just try not to act like the assholeish-know-it-all type, feel free to ask GOOD questions (try not to ask stupid ones) and makes sure you squeeze in a comment about how you respect collaboration and even if you know a lot, if that is the case, make sure that you state that you are not afraid to ask questions at a convenient time during the interview..

blah blah blah

Good luck:)
