I've got a stinky couch!

My mom gave me a couch of hers to put into my apartment when I moved in 2 months ago.
Well...it stinks. I mean, it just smells bad. And if you touch it, your hand stinks. If you sit on it, your clothes stink.
I have sprayed exactly three full containers of Febreeze on this bitch. 1 regular, and 2 Microbial. And it did nothing.
It's a very nice couch, it just stinks.
Any ideas on how to remove the smell?

Well it's not worth paying to get it steam cleaned. And I dont have the money to do that anyway. I will try washing whatever I can remove from the couch, but I was hoping someone would know of a really good strong spray type solution. Something I could buy from walmart.

maybe ur mom peed all over it and forgot to tell ya, or wait a minute
since ur so smart, why dont u throw it away. brainiac

Cartman: Stinky britches, you got stinky britches. Stinky stinky britches you got stinky.
Kyle: What the hell are you singing Cartman?
Cartman: This new song by Allanis Morrisette. I can't get it out of my head. Stinky britches! You got stinky britches!
Mr. Garrison: Hello children, are you ready for lunch?
Cartman: Stinky britches, you got stinky stinky...
Mr. Garrison: Eric, is there a problem?
Cartman: Ya, I can't get this stupid song out of my head.

Cartman: Ya. Stinky stinky britches.

I would try sprinkling either that scented carpet cleaner stuff or some baking soda on the cushions, let it sit for an hour or so, and then vacuum the cushions. This should absorb some or most of the odor.

Baking Soda. Good idea.

Haha I dunno... it sort of smells like the guys in the booths in the middle of the mall trying to sell everyone fake rolex watches and cell phone cases and covers.

I use this stuff called OdorX in my car it works great and even gets rid of cig. smoke smell. Its made by the turtle wax so you should be able to find it in the automotive section at walmart for like $5.

Wash the couch fabric and take it outside and spray it with OdorX then let it sit outside in the sun for a few hours/days to bake out the funk.
