I've got a silkie terrier. What kitten would go well with it?

I got lucky and found someone giving away Bengal kittens. Mine's great. I love their personality.

As for compatibility, my cat's brother grew up with two dogs and gets along great with them, even attempting to clean the big Labrador with his tongue when they're sitting together, so I suspect a Bengal would work well if you got one as a kitten. I wouldn't try introducing an older Bengal to a dog, though; you really do need a kitten.

better link

"Ocicats have been described as "almost dog-like in their devotion to humans" and "very eager to please the people they own." Breeders also report that ocicats are voice sensitive. They don't like being scolded. If reprimanded, they stop what they're doing, and don't repeat the unwanted behavior, at least not right away. Ocicats are also praised for their extreme intelligence and sociability. "They want to be wherever you are. They'll follow you anywhere and everywhere. If you want to take a shower, you'd best make sure you shut the door, or you might have a cat in the shower with you."

They sound and look much like Bengals. Mine follows me everywhere and is quite fond of water. However, scolding him only changes how he behaves with me. He loves glasses of liquids, but scolding him has only taught him not to stick his face in my drinks. Anyone else's drink is fair game. The intelligence is occassionally annoying--he quickly figures out how to open any cabinet or drawer that he can reach.

Word of mouth, actually. A friend had a Bengal (mine's brother), and she helped me contact the person who gave her the Bengal kitten. I've never seen them publicly advertised.

Obligatory George and his dog photo. That pic was not posed, they actually hang around together like that.

BTW, I hate cats and I'm a bad person to answer this question.

I'll leave now.
With that silkie he'll need to find a cat that isn't big enough to own the dog.
Agreed, but since that is a priority, he can at least narrow his search.
