In 8th grade science class I had to pass around M&M's to a bunch of classmates. My palms were so sweaty the colors on the M&M's started to come off onto my hand. Nobody took any

well it's not that it even happens when i'm nervous, it just...well happens, and i don't know if there is any common cure to it, heh i need one, cause it's somewhat embarassing, and makes me self-conscious

I believe it's genetic. I bet a google search on sweaty palms would answer your guestion.

i think you just get used to it. heres my reasoning:

i used to get really sweaty palms when i first started shooting pool....it was really bad all my shots were off because i couldnt get a good hit.....eventually,it just stopped with a lot of practice. now its at the point where the cue stick is sliding with a vibration to it because my hands are so dry

So basicly there is nothing i can do to "cure" it..i did a google search, and i geuss it's genetic as was mentioned, and i can have some wierd surgury done, but that sounds a bit extreme, it's just a really really bad annoyance is what it is.....

whenever I play pool I always put baby powder on my hands, it keeps them dry and smooth so the stick slides very easy.

There is a surgery that can help with cronically sweaty palms. If it's that bad, you may want to discuss options with your doctor. Other than that, I don't think there's much that you can do except for carry around a hanky or just learn to deal with it.
