I've got a problem

I have 2 computers on my network connected by a Linksys BEFSR41 router. I'm connected to the first port my girlfriend computer is connected to the 2nd. When either of us are on AIM or YIM we can stay on for a max of 10mins at time before were kicked off. Also around this time it seems the internet stops working as well.

Here's what i've tried. When my computer is off, she can stay on AIM for hours and hours. When I bypass the router and hook the modem directly into my computer it works fine. After I bypassed the router and went back to the normal setup the connection seemed fine for a few days but then went back to only being able to stay online for around 10 minutes. I have ZoneAlarm Pro installed but it doesn't seem to matter if it running or not, i've tried it running and not running and get the same result. I'm running XP Pro, SP2, my GF is running XP Home SP1. I hope someone can help because this is really annoying. Thanks.

What version is the router itself (can be found on the sticker on the bottom)? and what version is the current firmware (can be found in the web interface of the router)?

I had this problem with a linksys router (IIRC it was version 2 of a WRT55AG wireless router) at my girlfriends house and it drove me berserk. Did some research and found that it was a common problem with that version of that router - got a different one (the model escapes me right now) and all is good once again.

Thanks. Best Buy has a D-link DI-604 for $50 with $45 MIR's. Of course they are sold out of them so hopefully they have the same deal this sunday.
