Whenever i press esc when playing games like half-life to go to the menu, a blue screen will appear saying "Windows a fatal exception 0e has occured at 0028:c0006eb2 in vxo vmm(01)+00005eb2. The current application will be terminated".
I'm using an Athlon K7 cpu, an Asus K7V motherboard, a SB live sound card and a Creative Geforce 256 video card. i've got no idea wat it is ... can anyone help explain and rectify it for me.

Hi Nap. Usually that type of error message with blue background screen is highly likely related with RAM problem. Is your system tweaked?, overclocked?.., some of the RAMs may not work depends on whether tweaked, how much tweaked, how the RAM module is assigned in your mobo memory banks, etc. I donno if you already have done this or not but have you tried normal clocking or underclocking and try run the system? also, have you gone to BIOS setting and change the memory setting to CAS 3,3,3? , turned off Precharge control?.. It's too hard to tell to narrow down what exactly the problem is causing.

thanx shk for your input...i know this problem is kind of complicated thats why i have on here hoping for a solution.
Well i've never tweaked any part of my system before ... as my motherboard is jumperless i leave it all to default settings. I'm using a Kingston PC133 128MB SDRAM.
I went to my BIOS and i saw the CAS only has an option of 3T or 2T...so i'm not really sure wat your 3,3,3 means and also i do not hav a precharge control ( its only 3T or 2T ).

Anyone out there care to give me some suggestions?
