fan says 3 and 4 pin connector. Does this mean I can plus it into my motherboard (which has 3 pin connector) or do I have to plug it into my motherboard and a regular 4 pin molex connector? Thanks.
i have the same fans and use the four pin connector. I didnt want to draw any power from my motherboard to fun fans. Yes only plug in one of them. If you want the monitor/control the speeds of the fan then plug it into the mobo
Yes, I wanted to monitor/control the speeds of the fans is the reason I am wanting a 3-pin fan. Any recommendations on a 120mm and a 80mm fans? I need to buy both of these and would like it to be as quiet as possible.
