I've decided that I don't like humidity.

Since moving to Virginia, it's come to my attention that HUMIDITY SUCKS! It's gross. Really, really gross. It's raining and that only makes things worse. UGH!

(Yes, I know that humidity in other places is worse, but I'm not used to much humidity.) :p

Thank you for letting me rant. :)

I much prefer to spend my summers somewhere other than Chicago for the same reason. 10% humidity and HOT is better than 90% humidity any time.

Well, since my bf is here *I'm* here. I'd rather put up with humidity than not have him. I just felt the need for a rant. :p

EDIT:

Or come farther south in to NC.
The damn dewpoint was 77 degrees the other day.
We met Isla and her family in NC. It was definitely pretty humid there, too.

Yeah there's nothing like having sweat run down your back while it's raining outside!

Try standing on a NYC subway platform for any amount of time. Now, that's humid.

Yeah, if anyone can understand me, it's you. ;) lol Although where I lived, it was nice pretty much year round. It didn't really even get that hot in the summer. *le sigh* It was nice being back there last week in the great weather, though. :D I got to show HayZeus why I'm so spoiled. :)

Holy Crap! That is way humid. Wow it's cool there too...87°.

It's only 21% and 92° here in SLC.

Yeah, you're all pussified now. Wait until winter rolls around there in MA. Your nuts are going to retreat back into your stomach! ;)

You're welcome to rant... us Southerners have been doing it for years. And its particularly cool right now.... and shockingly enough, rain doesn't seem to make it more or less humid... its stuck in the 80% region constantly. :) I grew up in Charlotte, NC and have lived in Raleigh, NC and currently Blacksburg, VA. Of course, living in the mountains is nice, sometimes--well, except that there's nothing here, and it rains every day at 4pm. lol.

The worst is when its 100 degrees with 90% humidity. Fayetteville, NC is the worst for that... although it does get bad in Raleigh, too.

Just get used to showering three or four times a day, and you'll be fine. :)

Anyways... welcome to Virginia.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who absolutely detests the humidity.

When I was in Orlando A LOT of people would complain that the dry air was making their skin crack whenever the humidity dipped below 90%.

::snicker::

It's been humid out here in San Diego too. Even further inland where I live is humid. Ugh. I'll take dry heat over humidity any day....

This is nothing - you should have been here last year.
