I've come to the conclusion that welfare encourages people to have babies.

My 19 year old sister, who already has a child and supports her current child via WIC, Medicaid, and other state funded sustenance, told me that she wants to have another child. I told her she couldn't afford one on her waitress salary, and that she shouldn't bring another miserable being into this world to live in poverty. Her response: "It's not that hard Ryan, the state pays for everything, it's easy. "

Sometimes I wonder if paint chips fell into my sisters crib as a child

When you encourage a certain behavior, that behavior is what you get. "The system" encourages unwed mothers to have children by giving them money, food, and medical assistance...so what do you think happens?

Uhh... I thought she was trying to improve, having another child won't help!

Has she told your mom?

Just kill her now. Much better for all of us.

But yes, welfare does encourage more babies. I've overheard the conversations...."girl....just have another kid. you get more of that mad money if you do...now go find another baby's mama!"

Yup. More children = more welfare money.

I have a few relatives that live off of welfare and just bought a widescreen TV. They live in a run down trailer. They are, in my opinion, the definition of 'White Trash'.

I love thinking about them and their new TV (far nicer than mine) when I'm paying my 40.3% taxes on my income.

I don't know - I give up on everything.

theres this woman at work, shes 30 or 32, has 3 kids and has never been married, they all have a different father.

wait

she got married last year, to a guy who went to prison 2 months after they got married, this man is not a father of any of her children.

before he went, she was telling some coworkers things were going to be tight, and to get some extra support they were trying to have another baby so they could get more food stamps and such.

its seriously disgusting.

heh, and that's the problem. The productive members of society aren't out reproducing left and right.

Wanna have a bunch of kids? That's great! Wonderful! Just make sure you can provide for them instead of sucking society's teet.

Yup, anyone else notice that the people that seem 'smarter' and 'more productive' are the ones have few kids or none at all while the 'less smart' and 'lazy' are having babies like rabbits?

What a nice thing for the kid to find out one day... "You were brought into this world so we could get a bit more money out of welfare."

you just figured that out now...;)

If i were in charge of the world, i would offer temporary assistance for the first kid born out of wedlock and not a penny more. I would offer free tubaligations to all these women and have DYFS watch them closely if they continue to have kids. If they cant pay for them, I am sure there are plenty of homes where they can be adopted into.

but i am a b!tch like that.

:)

Why do you think our schools churn out such so many stupid people.

Can't fight mother nature.

Yeah, it's pretty amazing you just figured this out. Heh.

What we need to do is a complete reversal of the system. It'd be harsh, but it's necessary. China's already kind of done it.

Basically, for every child over 2 that a woman has, she should get taxed like mad. "But wait," you say, "that means rich people would be allow to have more children!" Yes, it would. But traditionally, they don't. Even if they would, they're supporting it with their own money, and atleast the child was probably passed on some good genes...unlike what most people on welfare are passing on.

Mandatory sterialization for anyone that remains on welfare for longer than 12 months consecutively or more than 18 months in a 36 month period? Might work as a good deterrant.

It's okay, this kind of thing is going to drive us back into a SHARPLY divided class society. Very few elite (the children of today's "fortunate" folk who have money and very few kids) and the very man peasants (the children of today's leeching bastards who have no money and 11ty kids). God willing our kids are going to be smart enough to fvcking revolt against the 100% communist system that will be required to sustain the next generation of peons.

Hell, maybe they'll do what we'll never be able to do - buy enormous machine guns and slaughter them all.

Unfortunately that is the only real answer.

I remember... vaguely... that there was an organization of private citizens that got together a buttload of money and went around offering women on welfare with a bunch of kids free money and operations.... they would pay to tie her tubes and give her $300 cash.

there was an uproar... the aclu got involved and there were lawsuits and all sorts. put a stop to it.

This is why my method works - we wait a generation or two until the upper class is tiny, and hope they too pansified to engage in slaughter.
