I've caught the blog bug....

i use b2evo on SC [sig]

it's ok, but there's certain annoyances you learn to get around. and if you do any HTML in your posts it puts it through some nazi HTML verifier first.

yeah, it's all about pod-casting for 2005. 2006 will be about special suits that will allow you to feel the person you're having internet sex with...no...wait, that was 1998.

wordpress is what I just installed...1.5 was just released too.

Be warned though, if you want to do anything remotely cool you have to be willing to put in the time to learn CSS and basic PHP.

I've been using fusion News ( http://www.fusionphp.net ) for a while now. I like it, but when I changed my design to an XHTML 1.0 Transitional compliant site, I hate to manually change the code to make it write as such. Which wasn't too hard, but it would be great if it more scripts were written with this in mind.

Blogs are lame. Not only were they pointless to begin with, but they're also played out.

Sorry to hear about that, but he's not asking about your opinion on blogs.

I'm giving him the best advice of all- I'm telling him not to waste his time with a blog.

Fusion news looks neat. Any example sites? I need something real simple for real.

My Site 🙂

News is on main page, haven't finished setting up all the other pages because I just changed the design.

The best part about fusion is that it literally takes about 5 minutes to set up.

I wouldn't recommend plog, even if that's the one I use 😛

Try the suggested or GreyMatter. 🙂

I'm currently using greymatter but am in the process of moving everything into WordPress. WordPress is just better IMO.

Thank you everyone for your feedback. Deeply appreicate it.

I've tried one, if I'm not happy with it, i'll be trying others that you folks have suggested 🙂

Squarespace is by far, hands down the best blog tool.
I tried a few other sites, but the site looked so generic, I dont want my blog to look like 50 other blogs. Its free too, took me like 10 seconds to register my blog.

cheers

Here is what my blog looks like now www.gudzenko.com I think it looks unique and clean.
