Ok, I have an XBOX with the standard three AV cables. I have a television with only a single AV in plug and a cable piece, but I don't want to use the cable piece. I want to convert the three AV plugs to one AV plug. Anyone know how? I've been looking at something called a "Scart" converter..

You fail at life because I was wondering if scart was indeed what I was looking for, and it appears not. RF Modulator looks to be correct, thank you bmacd.

Edit: RF Mod isn't it, I have one and it doesn't work. Scarf thing might be correct, but it's not that hard to search google and FIND one. Finding out what it does isn't quite as easy.. if you want English at least..

Somehow I don't think you want a SCART converter, unless you're French... and by your profile, I'm going to say you're not.

Hmmm yes, I figured that out. Basically, I want it to plug just like ONE of the three av cables, but to where they all plug into something and one plug like them comes out. I'd thank you Sam, but being sarcastic, giving me a link to a simple google search, and then acting like you had it right seems to insult my intelligence. I don't like that. It seems I must find someone who knows a lot about this stuff..

I wasn't being sarcastic. Reading through the OP made me think you were looking for an SCART or RF adapter, and the SCART is better.

You said you looked at google, which when I typed in "xbox scart", I got the proper things.

"You fail at Google" is a customary ATOT ritual.

Perhaps it would help if we had a picture of the back of your TV where the AV inputs are. Any chance you can provide that or at least give a model number?

You don't know how to use the three seashells?

Let me get this clear so we can help you better.

You're saying your XBOX has three RCA outputs?

I'm guessing one is video and then two audio, one each for left and right channels.

I don't know how you're supposed to combine the three signals into one RCA input. Maybe you want to input with coax or s-video?
