I've built my computer now, So what do I install first(well basically what do I do from the minite I turn it on and in what order)??????

I've got:
AMD Athlon 64 3700 32/64Bit CPU S939 "San Diego" Retail

Well you turn it on, and make sure it POSTs to the BIOS. Set the primary read source to the CD-ROM or whatever you have, and insert the Windows XP disc.

Voila :)

Edit - If the DVD-RW is not recognized, use the floppy disk that came with the mobo to install the drivers. ;)

wait, so its all put together, but you havent turned it on? first, turn it on, and enter the bios. make sure all the settings are good. then, boot your windows cd and install windows.

After installing the OS install drivers - motherboard first, if there are any.

windows updatepack (some websites have update packs with the latest patches so u dont need windows updater)
mobo drivers, sound, ethernet etc.
directx
graphic card driver
hardening, eg closing sensitive ports and services
xp-antispy
antivirus software
alternative browser like Mozilla
now u can enter the www and update ur antivirus

disconnect from any networks first before installing software. parasite transmission through unwanted virus trafficing are no fun.

power supply check up first. make sure the wires to the chassis are complete, and that none are misconfigured.
