Not really, but my third tuner in 1 year went bad in my tv today. Any idea why it would keep doing this? Would having monitors a few feet away hurt the tv?

My monitor and TV are about a meter apart and never given me any trouble. But it could. They are both using magnetic fields to guide the CRT, so if they are interfering with each other it could be trouble.

(a meter is a about 3.5 feet I think)
