what is wrong with me?

All day I've been feeling really sick....like I have to puke all the time. I puked twice last night....and it was so awful b/c i had nothing to throw up. Now I'm feeling it again...what's wrong with me?!?!

I'm afraid to be alone tonight...for fear of throwing up in my sleep and drowning to death. Sigh...

Don't you think you'll WAKE UP if you vomit while you're sleeping? What you suggested only happens if you're passed out from drinking.

ITS THE NORWALK VIRUS.

(sorry, everyone here thinks they have that every time they get the stomach flu)

Who knows...I'm a heavy sleeper...

and I plan on taking some nyquil...which will most likely knock me out.

be sure to drink lots of clear fluids and stay hydrated, if you continue to feel nausiated in the morning go see a doctor or the hospital. or do this if you feel that its an emergency, the least they can do is give you compisine to help you stop vomiting. whats wrong with you? its hard to tell by your post, did you drink alot? what have you had to eat in the last few days? are you allergic to any foods? it could be a mereiad of things.

I would say food poisoning but since you've been puking since last night it most likely is some stomach virus.

Go see a doctor. Hope you feel better ...

Whenever I vomit (usually from migraines) I drink water to avoid dry heaves. It's much easier to throw up a bunch of water than to suffer dry heaving.

drowning in vomit... thanks for the pretty picture.

usually you just have to ride these things out. if it lasts longer than a few days though see a doc.

If it doesn't let up, go see a doc. They'll give you something to make you stop throwing up. If you don't stop, you will get dehydrated and things will get worse. On a brighter note, getting to feeling better!

I was in that situation a few weeks ago, constantly puking. I believe the body isn't strong enough to digest food or you are very ill, symptom range from headache, stomach ache, flu, cold, fever or all at once. :(

I had the same thing a few weeks ago, I threw up 17 times in 12 hours. You probably just have a fierce but short-lived virus. If it doesn't stop, a doctor will need to give you some phenargan or composine to shove up your ass so that you can tolerate fluids.
