I was in the hospital two weeks ago and I go back to work either tomorrow morning or Monday morning, depending on how I feel (been feeling very weak). my boss has been really understanding and everyone is anxiously awaiting my return....

What can one expect to occur upon return to work after two weeks off for medical leave? What kind of time do they usually take, etc.?

Depends on your workplace.

Here...everyone would welcome you back, espically since you were sick, which kills most of the morning. Then you spend the next 3-4 days trying to catch up on email/voice mail/office gossip/etc.

If your boss is understanding, then he might let you cut out early, or take long lunches (naps), if needed.

Its not always fun... but it should feel good to get back in the swing of things.

Well, if your not missing limbs or sporting bloody bandages or coughing up lungs, you'll probably just get a few "are you all right?"'s and sh!t like that, and after half hour or so people will go about their business.
