I've been getting itchybutt lately.

schizoid

But I've actually been wiping more.

Is it possible to overwipe?

I use standard technique, so I know nothing's wrong there, but still a little spate of the itchybutt.

Sigh.

Sounds like assworms to me. Yep.

Pinworm:

"Pinworm is an intestinal infection caused by tiny parasitic worms measuring about 1/2 inch in length (about 1 cm).

Sometimes these worms can actually be seen in the area around a child's rectum or in the stool. They may have the appearance of light-colored threads on the move. Often a person can have a pinworm infection without having any symptoms, but when symptoms are present, the most common one is itching around the rectum. This itching is usually worse at night and is caused by worms migrating to the area around the rectum to lay their eggs.

Mmmm.. 😀

yup, sounds like it could be pinworms. one way to verify, is to have your mom/gf/dad/roommate or whoever check your anus while you're asleep at night with a flashlight. he/she should be able to see little tiny worms moving around your anus, laying eggs on the surface. this can be confirmed by pressing a Scotch tape directly on your rectum, and sending it away to a lab to test for eggs.

another could be that this is early stages of hemorrhoids. have you had rectal bleeding lately? irregular bowel movements? excessive overwiping is bad, since you can irritate the skin around your rectum if too forceful. any part of your body will itch during healing process, including your rectum during hemorrhoidal episodes, so don't overwipe.

I was going to say it sounds like you might possibly be getting a hemmorhoid. I've had a few and my butt usually starts itching when I get one. I'd try getting a mirror and taking a look down there or just use your fingers and feel for any lumps in or on the old ringpiece.

If you have an SO, get them to check for you. You know it's love if they'll look up your ass for 'roids and even dab Preparation H on your ass. 😉
