I've been eating a pint of ice cream a day.

I just did this three days in a row experimenting and flavor testing new "Rebel" Ice Cream. For what they are, they are all pretty good. The net carb counts (subtract sugar alcohols and dietary fiber) for the entire pint are single digits!
I had pics and a lot more to say but this board's "your message is spam filter" is fu#$ed so I'll never come back.

A new user who signs up to do a major write-up (with pictures!) on a new ice cream. Yeah, I have no idea why the filters here blocked that. ;)

I once watched a documentary on ice cream. All the old-school inventors of ice cream brands died of heart disease in their 50s. I'm assuming it was their constant QC checks that killed them off. Sugar + Milk Fat = BAD

They were probably smokers too, if I had to guess.

An honest serious answer -

Depending on how cold your freezer is - It will make the ice cream so hard you can't even scoop more than a tiny tad off the top. I've put it in the microwave for ~10 seconds to soften it up enough to make it easier to scoop for serving.

I actually do kind of get that and was only being mildly silly. ..

.....follow up: why is OP microwaving his ice cream for 1 minute? I assume that, like 99.2% of the world's microwave users, he just pushes time and start, so 1 minute at 100%?

Does OP prefer ice cream soup?

How do you eat 16oz ice cream daily and not gain weight? If I did that I'd gain 30 lb. within 4 months, pretty sure.

A regular Ben & Jerry's pint can top 1,000 calories. So, adding that to your diet would have you gaining 2lb/week. 8lb/month. 24lb/3 months.

Yeah no kidding, I guess the emergency #2 breaks kinda flushes everything out lol. But seriously you are looking at serious health issues eating that much ice cream per day. Complications from all that sugar, but even all that dairy. That much dairy is not good for you.

Forget the calories. That's ~100g of sugar in one sitting, every day. What else is OP eating each day? Type-2 diabetes for sure.

now now, we don't know all the details. Maybe it is the only meal that OP eats every day and he pulls a dog sled to work and back every day?

Isn't Diabeetus mostly genetic (as far as whom is more likely to get it). Hence why certain folks tend to get it a lot more often than others?

Just for reference, I was a 330+ pound fattie growing up in high school days before losing it all chasing women in college.... But man during those school years I would just down all kinds of delicious candy, soda, etc... I could just empty bags and bags of stuff like Sour Patch Kids and Sour Brite Crawlers.... nom nom nom. Still no diabeetus though through all of that in my younger days.

There are different types. ....Type 2 or whatever, I think, is genetic. Type 1 (I could have these all wrong) can develop later in life, due to well, all the reasons under discussion.

...but did OP died yet? I wonder if he's distracted with pre-contract discussions to appear on next season of my 600 lb life?

Richie P ate a pint of Bens and Jerrys everynight before bed for years... Then he had a heart attack.

I think you've got that backwards - Type 1 is genetic and Type 2 develops from diet/lifestyle. Though I think poor genetics will increase your risk of Type 2.

It's not soup. It just gets it warm enough so that I can eat it quickly. Without little fuss.

I walk alot. Just on the weekend alone I took about 50k steps. That's on Sat and Sunday. That's a lot of steps. I'm not sedentary, and I do eat clean for the most part. Ice cream is a weakness of mine. I think it has to do with me feeling a bit stressed lately.

What eating an entire pint of ice cream does to your body.

This personal trainer eats a pint of ice cream a night. Dudes also young, and works out for a living. Take the article for what it is.

Well, I'm sure Michael Phelps in his day would have no trouble dealing with consuming a pint of ice cream every day. The cat burned about 10,000 calories every day. But me, I don't think I go over 3,000 except on rare occasions these days. My priority is health, and even 2 oz. of ice cream is an indulgence. Honestly, when I eat ice cream (I have Trader Joe's French Vanilla in the freezer), I measure out 0.85oz! And I only do that once in a while, these days. I've been working on that 1/2 gallon for probably over 8 months and it's still 2/3 full.

Speaking of ridiculous eating I'm a few timbits short of polishing off a box of 20 in one sitting.

I walked to Tim Horton's but that probably only burnt like half a timbit's worth of calories lol.
