I've been bitten by the upgrade bug

i know i don't need it...but i can't overclock my current system any further, i've done everything i can do to squeeze every last drop of performance and she just can't take anymore of this captain

explain to me why i don't need to spend $500 on new hardware

or justify it and make me a bit poorer :laugh:

heh, right now i'm running a fx5900

that's the upgraded specs

and i'm not really asking for hardware advice here, not trying to be rude or anything, just don't want my thread locked

i usually stay a step or two behind on hardware, i don't have to have the bleeding edge

but my trusty barton mobile is certainly showing it's age

Radeon X1900XTX (my beautiful baby)
20" LCD

I am now too poor to eat
