Am not heavy gamer; built an HTPC right before GPU shortage so wasn't able to put one in; was going to get the EVGA GTX 1650 Super, and that's still a fine card for my 1080p setup, would've liked an RTX card but they seem to take up more than 2 slots. Just looking for a durable card, no coil whine etc under $300 and actually more like $200 unless it's a really good deal.
(EDIT: I can fit up to a 285mm card length max.)

You held out this long, wait a little longer. Prices are almost certainly going to substantially improve in the next couple of months.

MSI Aero RTX 3050 is for mITX. Zotac and PNY have mITX versions too. They should be under $250 by Black Friday, probably sooner. I definitely would not settle for a 4GB card unless it is well under $150.

Ok, I'll wait. My ITX case isn't typical in that it can fit a full size card, for example an EVGA 2080ti XC will fit. Suppressor F1 (thermaltake.com)

Thanks for providing the case. Looking at the HUB review from 2016, you are golden as long as the card isn't too fat. They were using a 3 fan WindForce with it -
