Itunes

Scenerio:

Laptop with itunes and songs in it (downloaded from itunes). I need to put in a new HD - it's going bad.

So:

1. If I put in a new hard drive, reinstall everything (don't want to Ghost it), reinstall iTunes and copy the songs back over, will there be any problems with listening to them? I don't use iTunes myself, so I'm not sure if there will be any licensing issues...

2. What if I put iTunes on that users desktop and put the songs on there (instead of the laptop)? Any problems there?

You are going to want to deactivate that computer before you reformat.

I wiped out my desktop without doing that and now I have 3 computers activated, when I only have 2 computers. You have to deactivate each computer before you wipe it out.

Edit: There is an option, I think under tools? in Itunes. You will see it, it just says "Deactivate this computer" or something like it. You can have your songs that you bought from Itunes activated on up to 5 computers.
