iTunes won't open, crashes as soon as I click the icon

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing helps. I don't recall installing anything new that may have fubard the installation.

I tried downloading the newest version and it still doesn't work.

Any messages in your Event Log (Control Panel / Administrative Tools)?
 
I fixed it. I had to remove an entry in the registry to uninstall QuickTime. Then I had to uninstall both QT and iTunes. Reinstalled both and it's working flawlessly.
