Itunes won't let me burn my purchased music as mp3s. . . help!

Everytime I select the option to burn my purchased music to a disc as mp3 files, Itunes says "these files cannot be burned to a disc," whereas I have no problem burning them as audio or data CD's.

Does anyone know how to fix this? If not, does anyone know of a program that will convert M4P files to mp3?

Thanks in advance.

You can rip the audio cd tracks to mp3's after you burn the audio cd. You will get some loss in quality, but my untrained ears don't hear the difference.

I thought that kid that cracked the DVD protection scheme had also cracked the Itunes protection scheme?? I heard about it in the news a while back but didn't do much research on it.
