iTunes + Total Recorder (maybe Tunebite), which soundcard to get?

I have quite a few iTune files, tired of burning to CD, rips to mp3. So I tried real-time play-n-record. I currently have Santa Cruz, it sounds decent when using with Total Recorder. Just wonder, other soundcards more suitable for such job?

Total Recorder is *supposed* to convert without quality loss (meaning it doesn't matter what sound card you have), but I wouldn't trust it unless absolutely necessary. Besides, using it requires working in real time, which is a heck of a lot more annoying than burning a CDRW and then ripping it. No, the sad truth is that iTunes sucks. I recommend staying away from it unless you can't get the music anywhere else.
