Itunes - Recovering library

I use to have all my music in E:\mp3 on my pc.

A few weeks ago, I bought a synology NAS, created an MP3 directory on it. I then went into itunes on my pc, and set it to consolidate/organize my mp3s to my NAS. This allowed itunes to create/organize directories on my NAS under MP3 for itunes. I formated my windows pc yesterday, reinstalled itunes, and now wondering how to load/recover all my mp3s back into itunes. I backed up my user/music/itunes directory to my nas also. Do I just copy back that folder to my c:/ ? Or do I have to go into itunes, and specify the location of itunes media folder location? Please help.

My user/music/itunes folder has a bunch of files in it, most seem like backup files with dates on it.

Did you buy the music from the iTunes store, or are they your own MP3s you simply imported into the iTunes library to use as a media player?

If you didn't buy them from iTunes, you just have to add the folder on the NAS to your iTunes library and let it index.
