iTunes problem...

So I have these songs in AAC format, and when I try to add them to my library, nothing happens.

maybe they're already in your library? i know it sounds like a stupid guess, but it's possible that you don't recognize the song by their ID3 tags.

maybe your AAC format isn't readable with itunes.

M4A, MP4, M4P


i used FAAC to encode AAC ... i tried the extension AAC and it would work in itunes. i encoded teh same file with the m4a extension and it worked.

try renaming the extension and see what happens.
