iTunes photo organization

When iTunes syncs my photos to my iPhone, it just syncs all my thousands of photo into the Photo Library photo and that makes locating pictures a pain the ass. I have all my photos organized into events in iPhoto and would like iTunes to sync/organize my photos into the events i created. How do I go about this? Thanks!

Click on your iPhone in the left hand column. Then click on the Photos tab. And then yuo should be able to select whatever events you want to be synced.

Chaotic got it. When you go to the Photos tab, there are two radio buttons, select the second one, and then you can get finer control of what goes on there.

But once they're on the phone, they won't be organized into events anymore... Which is I think the OPs main goal. You can be more selective in what gets synced, but all photos still get tossed into one folder on the phone from what I've seen.

I did just what I described, I appear to have my Events on the phone. This is iOS 3.1.3 though.

I think you'll get the pictures, they just won't be organized as events?

That is exactly what is happening. I remember they used to be organized on the phone in events and now they're all just in one ginormous folder. Is this a known bug and if not, why would Apple do this?
