Joined the revolution? More like join the herd, you sheep...

There is no revolution. Itunes is a perpetuation of decades old monopolization in the music industry. Do you really buy into those cliches they sell to you? Join the revolution, my ass...

you need to take itunes to your school library, get mytunes, and then maybe your movement might qualify as a mini-disturbance.

He deliberately used the "Joined The Revolution" line as a quasi-joke. I'm assuming, at least. If GooseMaster is honestly dumb enough to believe that he's Sticking It To The Man and/or Fighting The Power, then ... :p

wtf... one of the reasons people give for saying RIAA is evil is because they "refuse" to accept that times are changing and music is moving to a new medium (therefore giving everyone the right to steal music and/or bitch about the RIAA's tactics)... now the labels have embraced this new medium, and they still can't get a break.

Honestly, what do you people want them to do?!

i dunno, i'm a little disappointed in itunes after using it for a while. it seems to do heavy hd or cpu suckage when you switch to it... i'm burning a dvd at 4x, switch to itunes, and watch the buffer empty as the speed steadily drops to 0.3x and stay there for a sec or two and come back up.

Yeah, iTunes is a serious memory/cpu hog and also has severe memory leaks (ever try leaving it playing overnight? crashes on me 100% of the time).

Are there any suitable Windows alernatives to iTunes that has the same indexing of music by genre/album/artist? Are there any good Winamp addons?

Hmmm...fair use would be a quick starter. Maybe a file that can be played one more than one mp3 player.

I know, I'm asking for alot from apple.

Heh, just acknowledge the fact that the price will never be low enough for people to buy music online. Especially when free alternatives out there. Shameful....but true.
