Even if the albumis availible for download on itunes it is sometimes not finding the proper cover artwork. Also sometimes it doesn't find it at all. Two examples:

Coyote Ugly - doesn't find artwork at all

Moulin Rouge - finds artwork for Blarolling (whatever that is)

How do I fix this? I'm desperate because I got my wife a 16GB iPod Touch 2nd Gen for Christmas and I'm trying to import all her CD's before the big day comes. Please help!

iTunes will only find artwork for albums Apples sells in the iTunes Store. As nice as that sounds, it rarely finds artwork for me. I've resorted to searching manually on Amazon for artwork on my Windows machine.

On the OS X side, you can use the album art widget to automatically import it from Amazon for you. You can set it to find artwork for the music you're listening to at the time or whatever you've got selected. This looks like a newer version but it works great.

You can import graphics manually...right-click on the song, "Get Info", then go into Album Artword and add your image from Google Images or whereever.

Also nice on the plugin, alevasseur14!

I probably need to re-do this -- and figure out what format and platform I'm going to use, one and for all -- but I've imported my .flac library into iTunes using Fluke. Some album art shows up (it's all folder.jpg). Some does not. When it does not, it says it is not modifiable. Any idea how to fix this?

And, of course, from a grander standpoint, does anyone want to put a gun to my head and just make me choose a format, player and platform so I can finally start ripping my entire CD collection? I just don't want to get it wrong!

Easiest way to fix this:

1) Go to Amazon
2) Look up the album you want
3) Go to "View bigger image"
4) Drag and drop into the Album Artwork box

Apple's not going anywhere. Apple Lossless, do it.
