I bought the best of Tears for Fears from them last week and was pretty happy. I go back today to get a copy of Kim Wilde's "Kids in America," but they don't have it. :| Seems like that's an unlikely one to miss.

Not really. I know Tears for Fears, but Kim Wilde is unknown to me. Although, I think I know of the song and have one stuck in my head thanks to you. :|

We always cringed at the phrase "East California" in that song.

Apparently (according to Richard Blade on KROQ) Kim never toured the US because she was scared to travel here. He offered to put her up at his place 😉

Try some Concrete Blonde instead, like "Dance Along the Edge" or "Song for Kim."

I was young in the 80's. My first exposure to "Kids in America" was through GTA: Vice City.
