itunes m4p to mp3???

I have a few hundred itunes music files that I have purchased over the years that are in m4p format. I know you can convert some to mp3 or other formats within itunes but these were purchased ling ago when apple was a drm asshole. I dont want to manually convert all of them because even tho I set the preferences properly itunes will stop after the first drm m4p song and wont continue to the next. So, I am asking for a program that can do this without me having to upload them online and that actually work without installing malware and junk.

It is not a straight forward solution that you are seeking but Apple allows you to download DRM-less copies of your previously purchased DRM'ed songs.

Alternatively you can burn the songs onto (virtual) CDs and re-rip them into mp3s.

I hope you dont mind me jumping in here but I just DL'd some MP4 audio files and I cant seem to find where they are on my iPhone 7, I'm really good with android stuff but I just got a iPhone 7 the other month and I am having some trouble moving and grooving in their Apple system

Btw, if I find a program to convert my MP4 to MP3 will that harm the audio any?

Also, I might add that my MP4 audio files are somewhat large if that matters.

Which app did you use to download them? iOS tends to keep them contained to the app in question rather than sitting in a generic folder. This would actually be easier with iOS 11, since that introduces a Files app that shows content across all your apps.
