I've heard of this happening but have yet to find a solution. I opened iTunes today, without changing anything hardware- or software-related and suddenly I get that message 🙁 . No idea.
 
HA! Fixed my own problem:

For anyone as annoyed as I was with this problem, all I did was install NVIDIA Drivers for my mobo (see, I thought NVIDIA drivers would have only been for video cards...). Anyway, that fixed the problem.
