iTunes for Windows appreciation thread :D

Just added half of my MP3s and the Search feature is just awesome. I gonna play around with it a little bit more, maybe my Mac-Friend can tell me some really special features 😀

Two thumbs up.

*ahem*

After installing I saw it was using 30MB of RAM. NOES YUO!
Not using it.
Foobar whilst having a sh!tty GUI still only uses ~6MB.

I got a question. WMP9 has a nice feature, in which it sets the ID3 tags of all my files by letting me select the song from a list. Does iTunes have this feature?

When minimized, iTunes takes up ~8mb. When maximized, it takes up ~30mb. Not sure what the discrepancy is, but either way doesn't matter to me. It's a great program. The radio selection is great too. 😀

I like everything about it, my only gripe is it takes ALOT of ram 30++ which just sucks after using foobar and winamp2 for so long\

(Just looking at task manager it's down to 12,500, that's a bit better)

Now to to dock the ipod...I wonder how that will go

I noticed some system slow downs after installing it, and I didn't like how it seemingly didn't get along well with my Audigy. EAX was messed up and sounds were coming from the rear speakers that aren't normally there. I'll still with WMP9 and WA2.9.

So wait, is itunes just like kazaa now? Or do they still have the 99cent/sound thing for downloads?

itunes is an mp3 player that has the function of allowing you to shop for songs.

So far i like it, haven't bought a song yet tho. The radio streamin is nice, unlike WMP9 which opens 2 or 3 windows for a radio link you click on, iTunes does no such thing, starts streamin that very second, nice and clear. Will keep it for that feature alone..

Also, on the system resources thing

Minimized 8.5mb
Maximized 10Mb

Be sure to kill the iTunesHelper.exe, mine was usin 4mb until i ended it in processes runnin and startup

Of course..I have enough stuff open as it is, Id like for the apps I use to not be resource whores.

YESSSSSSS THANK YOU APPLE!!!!!!

Been waiting for this since it was announced in summer. Loved iTunes on my old mac and somehow missed it when I degraded its mainboard to a wall ornament.
