iTunes for windows and XP 64bit

I built a computer to do my video editing on and because it has my 5.1 connected to it I moved my iTunes to it.
I can't get it to burn a cd. I either get "Disc Burner Software Not Found" or, and this was after installed a new Memorex DVD burner with Nero 7, "disk recording not found".
I've tried a Samsung,MagicSpin, I/O magic and now a new Memorex drive. The "disk recording not found" I understand that's just nero and iTunes fighting back and forth. I can un-install nero and lose that one.

My computer is a E6300 on a ECS P4M890T-M2 (V1.0B), 1 GIG of ram, Running windows XP 64bit. All of these drives work with Windows, Nero and Pinnacle 10.7. And if I move the drives to my old computer all but the Samsung work with iTunes.

Any ideas ??

Memorex is a subpar company, it could be the dvd drive itself.

I've never had a problem with my Memorex PATA drive and ironically this new Plextor SATA drive has given me multiple issues with burned discs.

Memorex drive works with everything else.
I installed Nero 7 smart suite that came with one of the new drives. Nero 6 did not have a problem. As i said before the Nero problem is an easy fix. I've had 4 drives in and none are working with iTunes. It's not the drives.

Might be an issue with iTunes. Possibly a needed DLL or other file from Nero neds to be in the iTunes directory structure somewhere and isn't. I'd check iTunes website for troubleshooting solutions. Might also be an incompatibility issue due to 32/64 bit. Nero might be running 64bit and iTunes 32bit which might cause issues, maybe.

An easy fix would be to simply not try to Burn directly from iTunes. Save to HD, then Burn to CD using Nero. Unless of course it's iTunes Store stuff that will only Burn from iTunes(if it is limited in that way).

90% of it is iTunes store stuff 🙁

I'm going to try and put one of the drives in a fire-wire
case and see if iTunes will work with that. If it does work
then I must have a VIA bus compatability problem.

My other plan of attack is to move the files back over to
my other computer burn them all to CD's then import
them into windows.
