iTunes for Win stops working...

I have iTunes 4.2 and an iPod with up-to-date software. I have no music that was purchased with iTunes. Just my CD collection so far. iTunes worked without problems for the 2 months that I have used it. Now it has stopped working. It will start and recognize my iPod. But I can't play music files using iTunes. When I click on a song, iTunes shuts down. If I try to play the online "Radio" iTunes shuts down. I can see the songs listed but whenever I try to play anything in iTunes it shuts down. If I go to the folder where my songs are stored, I can use Windows Media Player or any other player to play them. I have uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it with no success. I have Win XP with all updates and a Win iPod. Besides regular cleaning with Spybot and Ad-aware and Registry First Aid my system hasn't changed. I have always used Zonealarm and Norton Antivirus. This is the only problem I'm having.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
