Before I erase everything and start over, maybe someone has an idea. recently 2 programs stopped launching. I have a portable version of Excel 2007 and Itunes (latest version on an XP Pro SP2. Task manager shows Itunes.exe under processes. I reinstalled Itunes. My excel portable has a small pop-up in the bottom right of the screen that use to pop up for about 3-4 sec as it loaded. Now it pops up momentarily, and doesn't load excel.
I'm not the kind that installs a lot of stuff.
If anyone has an idea how I can fix this I'd appreciate it. My next challenge will be a clean XP install and loading all those drivers etc. A big pain.
