Ohio sucks too (this whole region). 65 degrees yesterday morning, and by time I get home from work, there are flurries! WTF MATE?

Yeah. We had a lot of snow on the ground, then it got warm and it all melted, then came the rain. Flooded basements fo sho'. Now it's snowy and icey.

when it was raining I got scared knowing the cold was coming. The roads arent bad...but my parking lot is more of an ice skating rink. Then on the weather they say the dreaded phrase "driver carefully folks. When it's this cold out the salt doesn't work." I hate it when they say that.

Yeah no kidding. Did you hear about that big 200 car pile-up on 96 between Okemos and Webberville? 2 dead and a whole lot of people injured. It started out as a 50-car accident and went up to 200 :Q Lucky I was coming home from Grand Rapids and not class that day. Mmmmm Mongolian Barbeque.

GoodDad - I notice your weather link is for Grand Rapids, MI. I'm also in the GR area. Well I live in the Walker/Alpine area but my address is GR.

That was caused by fog though, which, ironically, was caused by the warm weather we had. If it had stayed cold, probably wouldn't have happened!

Ha...wussies 😉

We are supposed to have a high today of -8 to -5F....🙁 We are not supposed to get into the teens until next Thursday with overnight lows being in the -20F range.

Yeah that fog was horrible. I actually have pictures of it from that day...

Fog on M-50 E

Dock on Jordan Lake You can barely see the frozen lake behind the dock.

Lake shore or what you can see of it anyway.

That fog was just nasty. You could actually watch it rise from the snow. I took the back way when I was taking the boy to school that morning. We drove past a couple swamps and through some really low areas on purpose. It was cool, but kind of scary. Not as scary as someone driving while taking pics of it, but still kind of scary.

And yes I am in GR. I actually live less than a block from Mongolian. If you guys ever want to do lunch just let me know.

great, just great. Whatever weather you guys don't like you send across the lake to us.

The weather chick actually said to enjoy this weather while we can, because an even colder arctic front is moving in next week. Its so cold out that I could only manage to fill my tank half way today before my ears went numb. How am I supposed to enjoy that?
