ITT visual communications?

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the ITT visual communications program. Basically did you find it useful and worth it? It is for my sister, I don't know what her post school intentions are except she enjoyed this type of thing in high school.

I know ITT is generally frowned upon but in my sister's case it is basically this or no schooling so I'd hazard it would be worth it at least in terms of learning some basics and starting to build a portfolio.

Why not go to a local community college for a few years to bump up her GPA then apply to a real school?

Community College > Strip mall school (that's what I call ITT type schools)

As stated in the other ITT thread - the tuition costs will be what the max available for loans/grants.
