It's weird not having my dog at home

Pretty busy schedule coming up with neither of us being home at times so our dog is off at some friends for dog sitting. I've got a brief 12 hours at home and the house seems unusually quiet without the clicking sound of her walking on our floors or the jingle of her collar. No one with their face against the door to greet me the instant the door opens. I've also noticed an increase in the amount of food debris on the floor. I thought we were neat and tidy people but apparently its just that we have an autonomous swiffer
