What about having it on, but not watching it? I like to have it on all the time for backround sound.

i'm at college and have sh!tty cable, so giving up the tv wouldn't be too hard for me. however, giving up my computers would be quite difficult.

You're cheating if you use a computer.. both have the purpose of making you zone out for hours

You will love it. In fact TIVO makes it possible to keep your tv off for a week and not miss anything. Having a youg kid as I do you will learn to love it more. As soon as she acts up on comes Elmo. We have about 20 sesame streets ready at a press of a button.

I don't use the TV to babysit her, but I do appreciate not missing stuff because it came on while I'm busy with her.

I work at a hotel from 12:00 AM till 8:00 AM. There is no way that TV is going off for a week. Anyways, X-Files runs on Wednesday 12:00 AM till 5:00 AM. :D

Maybe I could try that.

Keep the TV off the whole week, mmmmmmm, just a added incentive to get a TV tuner card in this thing. :)

Yeah, let's pick the time of the year when there's really nothing else on but the NBA Playoffs and the very beginning of the baseball season and the weather is beginning to turn nice so people are spending more time outside. Why don't they pick a time of the year when people would likely be watching TV anyways for this campaign?
