No matter what the score is losing a road game at Texas isn't as bad as losing at home to OSU.

Playing in a tough conference and loosing to ranked teams isn't really overrated. Overrated would be USC or Ohio State.

well...I think we could have beat Oklahoma if our head wasn't in our ass but this Texas game has made our weakness into a chaotic death wound.

I have said ever since the game w/ Illinois that if we dont' get our pass coverage under control we are in trouble....GUess there was nothing we could do

as a texas alum, i'm not sure this game is over. mizzou is a quick strike d. anything can happen. there are still 2+ quarters to be played.

Texas has it going on this year.

And for those who care about Big Ten (crickets?), Penn St? Did anybody call that? Or do I live in a box?

 What does being a Texas alum have to do with any of that?

It's always nice to include your affiliation when you make predictions, so people know what your angle is.

to let some people know that i'm not one of the idiot fans we have that would have called this game over after the first texas score...

anyway, mizzou showed they can move the ball down the field when they make adjustments. just have to see if our d makes more adjustments after halftime.

and lol colt fumbles but still throws a great pass for first down.

this game is over. Now I can watch the ALCS in peace. Mizzou can't make a defense stop if their lives depended on it.

Ogbonnaya has certainly been impressive since the Colorado game. He's pretty illusive, patient, and can finish off the run with a pop.

after this game, neither alabama nor penn state (nor, for chrissakes, USC) should get a single #1 vote

It sucks to be a Tiger fan, that's true. But it's still better than being a jayhawk. Seriously, I never expected to win this game. Hoped? Of course, but I learned long, long ago that MU will break your heart.

i wouldn't give the north to them just yet. 2 big 12 losses after this, and there are north teams that don't play ou or texas this year.

true, but all north teams have to play each other...who, in the north, can beat Missouri?

maybe Kansas, that's it.

I wouldn't give it to them, but KU is the only other team that really concerns me. They lost today, and still have to play UT. Nebraska's already lost 2, KU/K-St/CU will hopefully eliminate each other and get beat by MU. Hopefully it comes down to another showdown at Arrowhead w/ MU and KU. Regardless, it will be the most exciting game at Arrowhead this year - the chiefs suck so bad.

MU v KU will probably, heck it will be, the best game at arrowhead this year. The way my alma mater, KState is playin, no one has to worry about them, but they seem to sneak up on one good team, see Texas the last two years.
