As long as the Christmas decorations are sold in stores, snow is allowed. :colbert:

Fuck that nasty stuff. I expect to see it on the ground here once during the winter most years...but, thankfully, it's usually gone the next day.

I will say that it wasn't too surprising to see snow in October when I lived in the Midwest.

Spent much of my (later) childhood in Spokane. It was always a toss-up whether we'd have snow by Halloween. Living in Wyoming, it was almost a certainty. (You might see some snow almost any month of the year)

It was finally cool and dry enough to open up the french doors to the porch for the day, very pleasant.

I think it's coming here soon as well. Suppose to get snow in Kapuskasing tonight, what they get in that area usually comes here. We already did get a bit of snow here but it melted right away.

I should look at putting my Christmas lights up soon. Easier to do when there's no snow on the ground.

I thought you already had them up? Slacking. You could cut a path through your new land and light up a Christmas Forest.

Get you a Californian girlfriend (or boyfriend?) and stay there until summer.

That's what I do.

I feel for you, we had snow on the ground on friday. Just way too really for this mess. Its now below freezing and I finally had to turn the boiler on.
Yuck.

Lol outside the arctic, the prairie provinces and northern Ontario and Quebec, many US areas get more snow. Like last year here in Toronto, we only had one huge snowstorm for the season.

Our Indian Summer in Nor-Cal was a bust this year - We usually get quite a quite a few days of 90+ degree weather instead its been mid 70's with lots of cool overcast coastal clouds.

Unreal that its snowing this early in the year for Illinois!

Snow will fall in Colorado the day I return form overseas. It is a documented fact, it does not matter what the actual day is. Granted, I have not returned in July so there is that.
